Landon Stancil Turns in Season-Best Effort

Strong Rock Christian was led to victory by Landon Stancil, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Stancil picked up 159 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 94 yards.

Mercer Hudson Delivers Best Performance of Season

Sadly, Mercer Hudson posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Brookstone over Westfield School on Friday. Hudson picked up five sacks and made 14 total tackles. He is becoming a predictor of Brookstone's success: when he posts at least two sacks the team is undefeated (and 2-3 when he doesn't).

With the defeat, Brookstone broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3. Hudson will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Strong Rock Christian on Friday.
