Soccer Recap: Rolesville Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Rolesville has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 4-1 to the Millbrook Wildcats on Wednesday. If Rolesville were looking for revenge after losing 6-1 to Millbrook when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rolesville's goal came courtesy of Kelcey Bennett, who's now up to 19 this season.

Rolesville's loss dropped their record down to 9-2-1. As for Millbrook, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-1-3 record this season.

Rolesville is taking a road trip to take on East Wake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rolesville is facing East Wake at the right time seeing as East Wake is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Millbrook, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wakefield at 6:15 p.m. on April 7. Millbrook will need to watch out since Wakefield has now posted at least four goals in their last four games.
