Basketball Recap: Texas Christian Comes Up Short

Texas Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Kingwood Christian Life Center Academy Cougars and fell 76-46. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-50 back in November.

Kingwood Christian Life Center Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Skyler Jasmin, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Elijah Mendoza, who scored 16 points.

Texas Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Kingwood Christian Life Center Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Texas Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against CHSA HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. As for Kingwood Christian Life Center Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
