Asheville proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by six) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand the Enka Jets a 1-0 shutout. Give Asheville's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Greyson Stenhouse, who's now up to 16 this season.

Asheville is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those nine matchups. As for Enka, their loss dropped their record down to 16-4-2.
