Los Gatos lost against Harker back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Los Gatos actually scored more points across those five sets (115-109), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-23, 25-23, 15-25, 19-17.

Los Gatos' loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Harker, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Los Gatos will take on rival Homestead at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Harker is set to face off against their familiar foe Cupertino at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
