Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Potosi). They breezed by the Fredericktown Black Cats to the tune of 86-49 on Tuesday. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Black Cats are ranked 348th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Potosi's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Fredericktown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-7.

Potosi will square off against Ste. Genevieve at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fredericktown has already played their next match (against Caruthersville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
