Football Recap: Yazoo County Starts Season with Victory Against Riverside + How To Watch

Yazoo County had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Riverside Bulldogs, posting a 46-0 win.

Leading Yazoo County to victory were Colin Washington and Chandler Hardman. Washington rushed for 101 yards and two TDs, while Hardman rushed for 90 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries. Washington's longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yazoo County will challenge Velma Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Riverside, they will square off against O'Bannon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
