Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Don Lugo). They were the clear victors by a 25-2 margin over the Los Osos Grizzlies on Tuesday. The Conquistadores not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 13, 2024 (when they won 42-0).

Don Lugo didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Madison Lardapide, Isabelle Borbon, and Caidence Shue picked up one apiece. Shue got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

With the victory, Don Lugo broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7. As for Los Osos, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Don Lugo has already played their next contest, a 14-0 defeat against Sonora on the 10th. As for Los Osos, they will square off against Kearny at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Komets' defense has only allowed 14.1 points per game this season, so the Grizzlies' offense will have their work cut out for them.
