Basketball Recap: Foxborough Regional Charter Starts Season with Win on the Road

Foxborough Regional Charter had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They pulled ahead with a 60-59 photo finish over the Neighborhood House Charter Legends. This was payback for Foxborough Regional Charter, who suffered a 55-54 loss the last time these two teams met.

Several Legends players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gionni Centeio, who posted 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ci'Mani Justice, who had 16 points.

Neighborhood House Charter dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Foxborough Regional Charter is taking a road trip to challenge Green Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neighborhood House Charter and Holbrook will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
