 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Westlake had no problem doing just that  on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  2-1  win over the Madison Mavericks. The  victory was nothing new for Westlake as they're now sitting on four straight.
 They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of 
 William Fagerberg and 
 Christian Mezas, who scored both of Westlake's goals.  The pair have combined for a total of 24 so far this season.
 Westlake is  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 12 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-3-3 record  this season. As for Madison, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 13-9-1 record  this season.
 Westlake will face off against Johnson on Monday. Westlake is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
