Football Recap: Phelps Comes Up Short

After soaring to 40 points the game before, Phelps was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They were beaten by the Knott County Central Patriots 54-12. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Phelps' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Knott County Central, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Coming up, Phelps will head out to face off against Fairview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Knott County Central, they will host Martin County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games.
