Durango extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Jaelyn Alston. The Durango Demons managed a 37-33 victory over the Falcon Falcons on Saturday thanks in part to Alston, who posted nine points. She also put up a block, which washer first of the season.

Another player making a difference was Claire Goodwin, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and four steals. Goodwin is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Falcon lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Macey Fothergill, who had seven points in addition to six steals and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Cobelyn Wiesner, who earned 11 points.

Durango's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Falcon, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Durango wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 34-27 victory against Pagosa Springs on the 14th. As for Falcon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-35 win against The Classical Academy on the 14th.
