Soccer Recap: Fremont Comes Up Short

Fremont managed to keep up with Grand Island until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Fremont came up short against Grand Island, falling 4-1. Fremont were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Grand Island apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Grand Island, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Fremont will face off against rival Lincoln High at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Grand Island is set to take on their familiar foe Skutt Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
