Baseball Recap: Standing Bear Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Standing Bear's offense. They came up short against the Lincoln Northwest Falcons on Tuesday, falling 6-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Grizzlies' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Standing Bear saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Holdren, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Standing Bear has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Lincoln Northwest, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
