Basketball Recap: Big Sky Skates Past Belgrade with Ease

The third road match was the charm for Big Sky, as they earned their first road win of the season. They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 51-22 victory over the Belgrade Panthers. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

The win got Big Sky back to even at 2-2. As for Belgrade, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Big Sky will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hellgate at 4:00 p.m. on January 11, 2025. After both having extra time off, Belgrade and Capital will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
