Basketball Recap: Sierra Victorious

Sierra fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against the Denver Academy of Torah Wolves by a score of 46-39 on Tuesday.

Avi Askenazi and Daniel Fiedler certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Askenazi posted 15 points, while Fiedler earned 12 points.

Sierra's victory bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Denver Academy of Torah, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season.

Sierra has already played their next contest (against The Classical Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Denver Academy of Torah will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Crescent View Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th.
