Oxbow had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Randolph Ghosts 22-4. The result was nothing new for the Olympians, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Brooke Osgood made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2025.
In other batting news, Noemi Rosa was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, five runs, and six RBI. Those five runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mazie Bourgeois, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Oxbow kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive games.
Oxbow's record is now 10-2. As for Randolph, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.
Oxbow does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Randolph, they will square off against Peoples Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.38 runs per game on average), something the Ghosts will no doubt try to take advantage of.
