Volleyball Recap: Soledad Aztecs vs. Palma Chieftains

Soledad lost against Palma back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Aztecs came up short against the Chieftains, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Aztecs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-10, 25-15.

This is the second loss in a row for Soledad and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Palma, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Soledad will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rancho San Juan at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Palma, they will be playing at home against York at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
