Soccer Recap: Turner Ashby Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

While Turner Ashby's win against Rockbridge County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 2-1 on Monday. Given Turner Ashby's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Rockbridge County are ranked 248th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bennett Wilburn and Fredy 'Daniel' Hernandez scored both of Turner Ashby's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.
