Englewood has gone a perfect 7-0 against Arvada recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Pirates will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Englewood sitting on six straight wins and Arvada on three.

Englewood barely beat The Pinnacle the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pirates never let the Timberwolves get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Monday. Englewood might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by four goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Arvada's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They won by a goal and slipped past Lake County 2-1.

Englewood's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four games. As for Arvada, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

Englewood came out on top in a nail-biter against Arvada when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
