Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Caroline Tabeling and Kenadi Sieg Lead St. Henry to Victory

St. Henry posted their closest victory since September 12th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Flagstaff Eagles 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Crusaders as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

St. Henry had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-21, 16-14.

Leading St. Henry to victory were Kenadi Sieg and Caroline Tabeling. Sieg had 14 digs, while Tabeling had five digs.

St. Henry's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Flagstaff, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-5 record this season.

St. Henry didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against South Salem on the 27th. As for Flagstaff, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Sacred Heart Prep on the 27th.
