Basketball Recap: Lemont Takes a Loss

After flying high against Evergreen Park last Tuesday, Lemont came back down to earth. The Lemont Lemont HS came up short against the Bolingbrook Raiders on Saturday, falling 68-48. The match marked the Lemont HS's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lemont's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Bolingbrook, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

Lemont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-68 defeat against Niles North on the 19th. As for Bolingbrook, they will face off against Benet Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Bolingbrook's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
