Volleyball Recap: Halifax Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus Friendship Christian

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Halifax Academy walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Friendship Christian Falcons on Thursday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Halifax Academy took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15, 25-11.

Among those leading the charge was Emma Inscoe, who had 16 digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Inscoe wasn't the only good servers: Halifax Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 20 consecutive matchups.

Halifax Academy pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Friendship Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Halifax Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Cape Fear Christian Academy on the 18th. Friendship Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
