Marymount had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Bishop Alemany on Tuesday. The Sailors blew past the Warriors 3-0. The Sailors haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Marymount took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-12.

Grace Jamison paced Marymount's offense, picking up seven kills. Jamison got some help from Olivia Penske and her 21 assists. Samantha Nugent controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Marymount's victory bumped their record up to 17-1. As for Bishop Alemany, they dropped their record down to 7-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
