The Vincennes Lincoln Alices lost against the Gibson Southern Titans back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Vincennes Lincoln took a serious blow against Gibson Southern, falling 66-35. Vincennes Lincoln was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-16.
Gibson Southern's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gabby Spink led the charge by scoring 21 points along with 6 assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Spink has scored at least 25% of Gibson Southern's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloey Graham, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals.
Vincennes Lincoln bumped their record down to 2-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Gibson Southern, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
Vincennes Lincoln will play host again and welcome Salem, where tip off is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Gibson Southern will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Franklin County at 6:30 p.m. on December 1st.
