Basketball Recap: Acorn Takes a Loss

Acorn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost to the Hackett Hornets at home by a 56-37 margin. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Hornets are ranked 58th).

Acorn's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Hackett, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

Acorn has already played their next match (against Danville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hackett will head out to challenge Westside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
