Baseball Game Preview: Moline Maroons vs. Galesburg Silver Streaks

For the second straight game, Moline will face off against Galesburg. The Maroons will square off against the Silver Streaks at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Moline took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They blew past Galesburg 8-2. The Maroons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

For Galesburg's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyree Taylor, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Moline moved to 16-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Galesburg, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-15.
