 Pojoaque Valley got themselves on the board against Espanola Valley on Saturday, but Espanola Valley never followed suit. They were the clear victor by  a  10-0 margin over the Espanola Valley Sundevils. That ten run margin sets a new team best for Pojoaque Valley this season.
  Ezekiel Atencio made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Atencio has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Atencio was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Dominic Apodaca, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Raven Naranjo, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 The  win  made it two in a row for Pojoaque Valley and  bumps their season record up to 5-21. As for Espanola Valley, they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-21.
