Softball Recap: Raleigh Comes Up Short

Raleigh was the 10-1 winner over Pelahatchie when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell just short of the Chiefs by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. The Lions' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Raleigh's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16-1. As for Pelahatchie, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 10-6 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Raleigh will square off against West Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pelahatchie, they will challenge Newton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
