Baseball Recap: Cary Imps vs. Panther Creek Catamounts
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Millbrook, Cary was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Panther Creek Catamounts by a score of 9-5. The Imps haven't had any issues with the Catamounts recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Logan Joyce and Avery Lin were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Joyce pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Meanwhile, Lin tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).
