Last Tuesday, Virginia Academy got the win against Fairfax Christian by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won eight in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Virginia Academy took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Covenant Christian Academy came up short against Fairfax Christian on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 16-25, 25-17, 25-20.

Covenant Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Virginia Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.
