Volleyball Recap: Sheets Memorial Christian Wins Going Away Against Bethel Christian Academy

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Sheets Memorial Christian had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Sheets Memorial Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Bethel Christian Academy between 14 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-14.

Clara Lopez paced Sheets Memorial Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Lopez got some help from Lauren Hanner and her 18 assists. Aleah Nixon and Haylee Allison kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.

Sheets Memorial Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Bethel Christian Academy, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-15.

As of now, neither Sheets Memorial Christian nor the Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
