Football Game Preview: South Lenoir Blue Devils vs. Southwest Onslow Stallions + How To Watch

South Lenoir is 0-4 against Southwest Onslow since October of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Blue Devils will look to defend their home field against the Stallions at 7:00 p.m. South Lenoir has given up an average of 27.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

South Lenoir is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Pender on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Blue Devils were dealt a 44-12 loss at the hands of the Patriots. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-0.

Although South Lenoir took the loss, they still got scores from Kamarion Uzzell-Graham and James Williams.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southwest Onslow). They walked away with a 21-14 win over Heide Trask on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Stallions in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won five in a row.

South Lenoir better keep an eye on Trenstin 'Ton' Bolden. He was instrumental in Southwest Onslow's win, rushing for 47 yards and three TDs.

Southwest Onslow's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for South Lenoir, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

South Lenoir took a serious blow against Southwest Onslow in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 67-8. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Blue Devils were down 53-8.
