Fauquier extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-3. They were beaten by the Meridian Mustangs 60-22. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.

Justin Clarke and Alex Romero certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Clarke picked up 104 receiving yards and one TD, while Romero picked up 77 receiving yards. Clarke's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 104 receiving yards dating back to last season.

As for Meridian, they will face off against James Wood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Colonels' defense has only allowed 14 points per game this season, so the Mustangs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
