Basketball Recap: Owen Takes a Loss

If Owen was riding high fresh off their 69-49 takedown of R-S Central last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warhorses were beaten by the North Henderson Knights 75-43 on Thursday. The matchup marked the Warhorses' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

North Henderson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Titus Moore, who shot 82% from the field on his way to 20 points and five boards. The game was Moore's fourth in a row with at least 19 points. Brayden Hudson was another key player, going 5-for-12 to rack up 11 points and five rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Owen fell to 4-1. As for North Henderson, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Owen has already played their next contest, an 84-53 win against Tuscola on the 9th. As for North Henderson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 69-40 victory against Pickens on the 9th.
