Bishop Montgomery is a perfect 3-0 against St. Monica since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Knights will head out on the road to take on the Mariners at 3:15 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Bishop Montgomery was able to grind out a solid victory over La Salle, taking the game 3-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Monica). They put the hurt on St. Anthony with a sharp 6-0 win on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for St. Monica.

Bishop Montgomery's record now sits at 4-6-4. As for St. Monica, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Bishop Montgomery beat St. Monica 2-0 in their previous meeting back in December of 2021. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
