Volleyball Recap: Kountze Falls Despite Big Games from Star Warren and Peightyn Irvine + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Kountze duked it out with Orangefield on Tuesday. The Lions fell 3-1 to the Bobcats. The Lions have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Kountze had strong showings from Peightyn Irvine, who had eight digs and three aces, and Star Warren, who had six kills and five digs. Warren has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 22 times she's played.

Kountze's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 20-9. As for Orangefield, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-18.
