Soccer Recap: Blue Springs Comes Up Short

Blue Springs lost against Staley back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Blue Springs have lost by just one goal.

Blue Springs dropped their record down to 3-13 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Staley, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-9.

Coming up, Blue Springs will head out to take on Blue Springs South at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Blue Springs South will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Blue Springs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Staley, they will be playing at home against Liberty North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Liberty North's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
