Volleyball Recap: Mineral County Takes a Loss

Mineral County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Excel Christian Warriors. The Serpents were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Mineral County started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-23.

Mineral County's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Excel Christian, they pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Mineral County has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Coleville on the 25th. As for Excel Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Pyramid Lake on the 24th.
