Baseball Recap: Bolton Takes a Loss

Bolton lost against Granby Memorial back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell 8-4 to the Bears.

Josh Wagner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double.

Bolton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Granby Memorial, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Bolton will head out on the road to square off against Coventry at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Granby Memorial, they will be playing at home against Canton at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
