It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Red Jacket ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Honeoye Bulldogs, sneaking past 45-42. The victory was familiar territory for Red Jacket, who have now won three games in a row.

Red Jacket got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Avery Close out in front who posted 14 points and seven steals. Red Jacket is 3-1 when Close posts five or more steals, but 4-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Molly Adams, who earned seven points and 11 rebounds.

Red Jacket smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in ten consecutive matchups.

Red Jacket's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Honeoye, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-6.
