Volleyball Recap: Foothill Comes Up Short

Foothill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Mira Costa Mustangs.

Among those leading the charge was Jordan Shelor, who had eight assists and five digs. Those eight assists gave her a new career-high. Sage Meidroth also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Foothill's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Mira Costa, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Foothill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Silverado on the 20th. As for Mira Costa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Xavier College Prep on the 20th.
