Volleyball Recap: Kouts' Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Kouts had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Michigan City Wolves by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in April.

Among those leading the charge was Breck Terpstra, who had ten digs and three aces. That's the most aces he has posted since back in April.

Kouts moved to 12-8 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Michigan City, they moved to 14-14 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Kouts will square off against Chesterton at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Mustangs & Fillies surely won't give up without a fight. Michigan City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
