Softball Recap: Discovery Canyon Thunder vs. Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks

Discovery Canyon had lost three straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped down to 6-15 to make it four. They fell just short of the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks by a score of 11-10. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red-Tailed Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 on Thursday.

Discovery Canyon saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Holcomb, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Lia Marrufo also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
