Volleyball Recap: Indian Springs Takes a Loss

Indian Springs lost against Loma Linda Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The COYOTES fell 3-1 to the Roadrunners. While the COYOTES didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Roadrunners 25-16 in the first set.

Indian Springs started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-5, 25-13, 25-15.

Ralph Banuelos paced Indian Springs' offense, picking up ten kills. Banuelos got some help from Samuel Becerra and his 16 assists. Tristan Stevens controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

This is the second loss in a row for Indian Springs and nudges their season record down to 7-15. As for Loma Linda Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-10.

Coming up, Indian Springs will head out to square off against Public Safety Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The COYOTES are facing the Phoenix at the right time seeing as the Phoenix are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Loma Linda Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodcrest Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
