Basketball Recap: Gooding Takes a Loss

Gooding played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. 2025 welcomed they with a 66-44 loss courtesy of the Weiser Wolverines. The Senators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Gooding's defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Weiser, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Gooding will take on Hansen at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Weiser, they will face off against Cole Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
