The North Cross Raiders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 99-41 victory over Fishburne Military. Considering North Cross has won four matchups by more than 23 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
North Cross' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Antonio Mack led the charge by scoring 34 points along with six rebounds. The game was Mack's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tristan Lange, who scored 23 points along with four steals.
North Cross is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Fishburne Military, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
North Cross is on the road again on Friday and play against Seton at 3:45 p.m. on January 5th. Seton will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. As for Fishburne Military, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Randolph-Macon Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 5th. Randolph-Macon Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fishburne Military in Virginia (Randolph-Macon Academy is ranked 76th, while Fishburne Military is ranked 397th).
