Franklin Pierce has gone a perfect 10-0 against Washington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cardinals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Patriots at 4:00 p.m. Franklin Pierce is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6 runs per game this season.

Franklin Pierce will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Steilacoom, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Cardinals walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Sentinels on Wednesday.

Dustin Wallace was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Wallace was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Lucas Larson was excellent, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and one double. Jacob Powell was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Meanwhile, Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Lincoln, falling 10-2.

Franklin Pierce is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Everything went Franklin Pierce's way against Washington in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Franklin Pierce made off with a 15-0 victory. Will the Cardinals repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
