Basketball Recap: Brillion Skates Past New Holstein with Ease

Brillion entered their tilt with New Holstein on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They claimed a resounding 79-47 win over the New Holstein Huskies. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 32 points or more this season.

Brillion's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for New Holstein, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brillion will finish 2024 at home by hosting Seymour at 1:40 p.m. on December 27th. Seymour knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Brillion likes a good challenge. As for New Holstein, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northeast Wisconsin Christian HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on January 13, 2025.
