Football Recap: Greeley Comes Up Short

Greeley entered their matchup against Tappan Zee on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Quakers took a hard 27-12 fall against the Dutchmen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dutchmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-6 two weeks ago.

Greeley's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-1. As for Tappan Zee, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 12-0.

Coming up, Greeley will venture away from home to take on Fox Lane at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Quakers are facing the Foxes at the right time seeing as the Foxes are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Tappan Zee, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-16 win against Yorktown on the 8th.
